Competitive ELISA demonstrates that low amounts of N1-Acetyl-Spermidine conjugate are required to abolish antigen-antibody reaction (high affinity), while rising concentrations of N8-Acetyl-Spermidine, Spermidine, Spermine, Ornithine, and Putrescine conjugates do not affect reaction (high specificity).

The anti-N1-Acetyl-Spermidine antibody IS1070 is, to date, the first and only antibody that enables the detection of this acetylated derivative of spermidine in biological samples. When used in conjunction with the STAINperfect Immunostaining Kit A, this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody can enable N1-Acetylspermidine imaging in various sample types, including cell cultures and tissues.
